COVID-19 Updates

We want our salon to be somewhere you can relax and feel safe, so things will be a bit different when you enter Emerge.

 Our rigorous sanitation and cleaning measures have always included: 

  • washing capes and towels between every guest

  • all tools are soaked in antibacterial disinfectant or disposed after every guest

  • waxing area sanitized between each guest

Because we are committed to protect the health & safety of you and our team, we have added these new measures: 

  • A brief COVID-19 questionnaire upon entry will be given

  • Stylists and staff will be equipped with disposable surgical masks, and/or face shields for all services.  Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided to you upon entry.

  • Dividers have been added between styling and shampoo stations for your safety

  • Additional frequent disinfection of all surfaces and high-frequency touch points

  • We've removed all product testers and non-essential items

  • All stylists are certified in official Barbicide Sanitation Protocols

  • Temporary discontinuing of open beverages

  • Temporary discontinuing of scalp and hand massages  

  • Temporary discontinuing of blow drys 

  • Cashless checkout (temporarily accepting credit card or Apple Pay only)

 

These are some steps we are asking of our guests for each appointment:

  • Please call upon arrival: and wait in your car until a staff member contacts you to when it is your turn to enter the salon.  This is to reduce traffic and maintain the occupancy limits given to our business.

  • Face masks and hand sanitizer will be given to you upon arrival.

  • Staff will assist you in sanitizing frequently during your visit.

  • Personal belongings must be limited to fit a 10x10 inch space. 

  • Please give 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.  Due to the demand for time, we are implementing a new cancellation practice, whereas a 50% charge for services booked will be made for appointments cancelled without this notice.  

 

While we were closed, we were busy preparing for our reopening with lots of new safety, hygiene and distancing measures in place. As such, we are kindly asking customers not to make an appointment if:

  • You have experienced any cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days 

  • Have been in contact with anyone with cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days

For those that had appointments with us during our closure: 

Please be patient with us as we work through our lists to rebook appointments for everyone!  This is taking more time than anticipated.  Please know that we are working around the clock to reach everyone as quickly as we can! 

We are calling in the order that appointments were missed.  If you don't hear from someone by Friday the 22nd, please send us a friendly message to let us know you are still waiting. 

For those that are new and/or are loyal guests that want to make appointments:

Please be patient with us!  And know that we are looking immensely forward to connecting with you!  To be fair, we must allow our guests that had appointments during our closure to schedule first, but we will be with you as quickly as we can.  In the meantime, we are happy to add you to our wait list!  Please call, or message us here
